An aluminum awning custom fit into a very awkward space.
There was nowhere above this door to mount an awning and still be able to open the door so we came up with this solution; mount the awning so that the side covered the door. We made the awning with only a right side and allowed the open left side to cover the door. This customer also got the added benefit of some shade over their kitchen window!
A wing back cut out allows us to mount awning with limited mount height.
A cut out on the sides, as well as custom leveling the pitch of our awnings allow our customers with limited space above their doors to still open outward swinging storm doors. Since we build every single one of our awnings in our shop located in New Bedford, MA custom measurement like this are possible. Even the materials used to manufacture our awnings are sourced from local companies.
