Whenever you are making an addition to a historic building, you need to get it just right. We think we did just that with this awning at the Frates Bottle building in the north end of New Bedford. The burgundy color perfectly compliments the color on top of the bottle and will now provide much needed shade for customers eating their meal at the window seats inside. This awning has a vintage style and look to it that doesn’t take away from the early 1900’s architecture the building exemplifies. All in all, it was a pleasure to work on an iconic building and one that is so recognizable to anyone New Bedford area resident.
